About Us – the business

Paul Goodman set up the business in 1988. And had worked in the motor trade since leaving school, and wanted to build a car sales and service operation that local people could trust for impartial advice, good service, and above all, vehicles that people felt confident with.

With thousands of loyal customers having bought cars and vans – often many times over – it’s fair to say he succeeded in his original aim.

Now firmly established in the Cotswold Water Park, Goodman Bros still offers traditional motor dealer services locally, and now can search for and supply vehicles nationally. All too often if a garage hasn’t got what you want in stock, he will try and shoehorn you into something sitting on their forecourt.

I don’t think that’s good business in this day and age. Whilst anybody can surf the internet to look for vehicles on public sale – I can look places you can’t. I regularly source vehicles from:
